Merry Christmas!

We have been so blessed this year to have Connor join our family, who knew something so small could bring so much joy to so many people. And thank you all for being a part of our lives, we wouldn't have nearly as much to blog about without you. :) We love you, have a wonderful New Year!

Christmas fun!

We had a jam packed holiday this year, we loved it though, so fun to be with all our family! Connor officially has more toys/clothes then we know what to do with, we are very grateful though. Tissue and wrapping paper apparently would have made the best gifts, he had a ball with those. Here are a few pictures from Christmas Eve /Christmas Day...

our visit to santa

So we went to see santa last weekend and were surprised at how well Connor did... at first. He looked santa over and was fine for the first picture. Then they made eye contact and it was all over. Everyone waiting in line gave us the "aahhh" when he started crying. Guess it was to be expected. Poor bubba.

i love to eat

Puffs are Connor's favorite food right now. He'll pick those over Cheerios every time. He's getting really good at feeding himself too. We can't believe he's almost 9 months old!

sledding

We have the best backyard for sledding! Kevin, Luke and Kyle had a blast when we had a little snow the other weekend. Connor didn't get to sled, but we did get to try out his new snowsuit and play in the snow a little bit.

Connor DID NOT like getting his hair cut this time, there were a few tears. We ended on a happy note though!

So we went to Campbell's first birthday party and didn't even get a picture of the birthday girl. Although we did get a picture of Campbell's mom! We also went to Thea's first birthday party and didn't get any pictures AT ALL. I'm a major slacker!

We had the whole clan over for Thanksgiving this year, 25 of us. Thank goodness for auto timers!

pre-thanksgiving

Suzie, John and Evelyn went to Colorado for Thanksgiving so we had a little pre-Thanksgiving a few days before so we could all celebrate. Evelyn was trying to teach Connor how to balance on his belly without hands but Connor didn't quite catch on.

2 teeth!

So by the time I get around to posting the picture of his first tooth, he sprouts a second one! You can see them pretty well in this picture.

halloween

Halloween was a lot of fun this year! Connor hung out with cousins Evelyn (Hershey's Kiss), Kyle (Spiderman) and Luke (Black Ninja). He went trick-or-treating too, but only made it to 2 houses before falling asleep!

first halloween party

Madison Smith had Connor over on Saturday for his first costume party! He started out somewhat happy in his bumble bee costume, but once we made it over to Madison's he started getting really hot and not so happy. Poor bubba!

rockin' and rollin'

When it rains it pours! Connor rolled over for the first time last night over at Mamo's (other than the occasional "accident"). He was so proud of himself, grinning ear to ear after he did it!

we have a tooth!

I forgot to tell everyone that Connor popped a tooth thru on Friday. It's on the bottom right. The second one doesn't look far behind either! We have a picture of it, I'll try and post it later tonight. Whooo hoooo!
