what we've been up to

Since it's been a while since I've posted, here's a quick summary of of his happenings:

- tooth number 8 popped through, he now has the top and bottom 4 teeth
- cruising, not a bunch but we are headed in the right direction
- he has some new "tricks", showing you his tongue when you ask him,
showing you how big he is by raising his hands above his head when you ask him, snapping (or at least he thinks he is), clicking his tongue, and playing with the water in his sippy cup by taking a drink then spitting it out everywhere

cute/funny pictures

Here are some cute pictures. Connor's face in the picture of he and Kevin just cracks me up!

yup, that's a turtleneck

We've had Connor in a couple turtlenecks lately, but realized that you can't really tell he's wearing one with that chin of his. Poor bubba!

big boy car seat

Connor moved to his big boy car seat a few weeks ago and with that came his favorite past time, sucking on the chin strap of his hat. And as you can see, he's still able to fall asleep in it just fine.

bath time fun!

So finally I'm getting something else on here besides the picture of him picking his nose! Here are some cute pictures of Connor in the bath sporting his mohawk. He's about ready for haircut #4!

i've found my nose

This is Connor's new favorite thing to do. Pretty cute now, but I'm afraid it won't be for long. :)

9 months old

Connor had his 9 month doctor's appointment today and it was a doozy. 3 shots and a finger prick. He was wiped out by the time we came home. He fell asleep while chewing on the tongue depressor that our doctor gave him. So cute! He's up to 21.6 pounds (60th%) and is 29.5 inches long (85th%).

and we're off...

We are officially crawling! It took a little time, and mom and dad crawling around on their hands and knees a lot, but we are finally there. It's so cute to see the little peanut moving all around. We're sure walking is just around the corner!

dinner with grammy and bumpa #1

My grandparents, Grammy and the original Bumpa, were in town the other night from Arkansas and we all got together for dinner. It was so fun to see them!

Evelyn sat in a restaurant high chair for the first time, it was really cute. She is so small compared to the big chair! And she smiles for about every picture. Connor on the other hand prefers to stay somewhat serious. :)

happy new year!

lots of visitors

Connor had a lot of visitors over the holiday. Friends Jennifer and Kelli stopped by to say hello right before New Years. Connor loves to not smile for the camera lately.

Friends Craig and Wendy made it here for Christmas from California. They were able to meet Connor for the first time. We met them and our friend Matt for dinner before they headed back home. We had a great time and wish they lived closer. :)

bumpa's birthday

Aunt Shawn, Uncle Shawn, Josh and Molly made it in town after Christmas and were here in time to celebrate Bumpa's birthday. Thanks to Molly and Josh we have these great pictures to share. Thanks guys for taking pictures!

more sledding

Luke, Kyle, Kyra and Kevin came over a couple weeks ago to sled. You can sort of see the ramp they built that created tons of fun for all! Poor Luke wiped out though (last picture). All fun and games until someone wipes out on the snow ramp.

Merry Christmas!

We have been so blessed this year to have Connor join our family, who knew something so small could bring so much joy to so many people. And thank you all for being a part of our lives, we wouldn't have nearly as much to blog about without you. :) We love you, have a wonderful New Year!

Christmas fun!

We had a jam packed holiday this year, we loved it though, so fun to be with all our family! Connor officially has more toys/clothes then we know what to do with, we are very grateful though. Tissue and wrapping paper apparently would have made the best gifts, he had a ball with those. Here are a few pictures from Christmas Eve /Christmas Day...

our visit to santa

So we went to see santa last weekend and were surprised at how well Connor did... at first. He looked santa over and was fine for the first picture. Then they made eye contact and it was all over. Everyone waiting in line gave us the "aahhh" when he started crying. Guess it was to be expected. Poor bubba.

i love to eat

Puffs are Connor's favorite food right now. He'll pick those over Cheerios every time. He's getting really good at feeding himself too. We can't believe he's almost 9 months old!
