i love my shiny shoes

Connor ended up loving his shiny shoes that he wore for the wedding. He's even worn them a couple times since. Big change considering all the tears he shed when we made him try them on over and over.

ketchup is good...

This was a couple months ago, but one day Connor decided to dump his ketchup all over himself and seemed to be very proud of it.

i like my helmet

We have really been able to take advantage of the bike trailer that Kyra and Kevin gave to us now that Luke and Kyle are too big for it. Connor loves to ride up to the playground in it and has become quite the safety advocate. He pats his head if he's on a bike without his helmet. :)

Connor will make a scary face for you if you ask, it's so cute. We caught him with his eyes partially closed in the second picture but you get the idea.

hangin' out

Sorry everyone for being sooo bad about updating the blog. It's been crazy in our world for the last couple months planning this wedding. :) Here are some pics of Connor and Evelyn from last Saturday, Suzie and my mom watched C-man while Kevin and I went to Kelli's wedding. He had a blast at the park that they have in their neighborhood! Wedding was fabulous! I'll get more pictures up soon!

tube time part 2

We made it thru the surgery just fine, he wasn't very happy when he woke up but seems to be doing just fine now. Here are a couple pics of him while we were waiting to be called back. He loved driving the boat!

happy father's day!

We had everyone over to our place for Father's Day. Kevin had a nice day of relaxing and hanging out with his buddy Connor. It was a pretty good day!

Evelyn turns 1!

We went to Evelyn's first birthday party a couple weeks ago. She absolutely loved her chocolate cake! Suzie had all kinds of activities set up at the park down the street in her neighborhood. Connor had a blast and fell asleep on the way home.

deanna rose

We went to Deanna Rose this weekend, Connor really liked the goats! Then we headed to cousin Luke's baseball game where he scored the first run of the season! Connor was more interested in having Kevin pour water on his head. Oh, how easy it is to entertain a 14 month old!

Well, we have sort of been walking for a while, but he's taking off more and more by himself these days.

Memorial Day weekend

We headed to Arkansas over Memorial Day weekend to celebrate my grandmother's 80th birthday and my grandparent's 60th wedding anniversary. Thanks to my grandparents and Uncle Don and Aunt Cissy for hosting, we had a great time! Swimming, golfing, singing karakoe (yes Kevin and I participated in this!). The kiddos had fun dancing and staying up until 10 PM on Saturday night! The place we stayed at had a huge bear in front of it, we thought this picture was pretty funny. :)

hives

Poor bubba broke out in hives a couple weeks ago. Our doctor isn't sure if they were from a virus that caused his ear infection or if he takes after me and is allergic to penicillin. They lasted for about a week, then came back randomly for a while.

Becky's getting married!

We had a surprise bridal shower at Bunko for Becky a couple weeks a couple weeks ago. She is marrying John this weekend, 6-7-08. The bachelorette party was last weekend, we had a nice dinner then out for drinks! We all had a great time and are so excited for Becky and John!!

watering the plants

Connor is obsessed with 3 things, going outside, shoes, and watering the plants and flowers. Ok, maybe 4 things, grapes too. He absolutely loves the hose. Just about every time we go outside, he goes straight for the hose and whines until he can water a tree or plant. Lately he's been trying to drink the water too. Pretty comical!
