We went up to the Turkey Creek festival a couple weeks ago with Jennifer, Kelli and Mandi's daughter Delani to see Kerri and Alexia at their booth. It turned out to be a beautiful day, they have an animal farm for the kiddos then they played on one of the playgrounds. Connor shared a grilled cheese with Delani afterwards, he was in heaven! People actually asked us if they were twins at the restaurant, it was cute.

happy mother's day!

We had a really busy Mother's Day this year, celebrating just about all day long! We had an amazing lunch over at the Floyd's to celebrate with Karen, Kyra and Holly, then headed home to celebrate with my mom and Suzie.

It's hard to believe this is Suzie's first Mother's Day, it seems like Evelyn has been around a lot longer than that! Connor had fun hanging out with cousins Luke, Kyle and Evelyn and was exhausted by the end of the day! Evelyn and Connor had fun watching Kevin grill up some kabobs for everyone (which were WONDERFUL, thank you!) while John and Bumpa kept them entertained! All in all a VERY good day! :)

Uncle Kevin and Aunt Kyra gave Connor one of Kyle's KU hats that doesn't fit anymore. He actually likes wearing it and keeps it on his head for quite a while. He looks like such a grown up little guy in his hat!

Connor received so many cool toys for his birthday! Kevin stayed up putting everything together so they were all ready to play with the next morning. He had a ball! The walking/push toys have really encouraged him to walk. It's amazing how quickly he's getting around now. I'm sure walking is just around the corner!

Connor turns 1!

We had a packed house Saturday to celebrate Connor's first birthday! Uncle and Aunt Shawn and cousins Josh and Molly even made the trip down from Wichita! This was the first time he tried cake and surprisingly he didn't like it all that much. That didn't stop him from making a complete mess though! He hung out with all his family and friends and I'm happy to report that he didn't cry when he saw Campbell. :) Thank you to everyone that helped us celebrate, you definitely made his first birthday very special!

Easter Sunday fun

We all gathered at Mamo's for Easter again this year and had a wonderful time. After we ate lunch we all went to church and got to hear Luke sing in the choir. He did a great job up there! Connor had the cutest plaid pants and sweater vest on but we didn't get a good picture of them.

happy 30th Suzie!

We threw a surprise party for Suzie's 30th birthday a couple weeks ago and it was almost not a surprise! We were able to derail her though and surprise her a little bit! Can't believe my baby sister is 30, I don't like this getting older thing!

Connor's been a little under the weather lately with an ear infection. He's a trooper though and is still playing and having fun, although the past couple nights here have been sleepless. We bought him a new bath tub which seems to have brighten his spirits a little!

Evelyn started crawling recently and it's so cute to see the both of them scooting around together!

first real haircut

Boy was he unhappy! Although dad had been doing a great job with his haircuts so far, it was time to leave it to the professionals. The first real haircut went ok, we tried to make it as easy as possible by having Kevin sit in the chair with him and giving him his passe, but tears were still shed. He looked darn cute afterwards though!

Connor loves to pose for the camera lately. After a bath his hair gets super curly and turned into a fro since he was in dire need of a haircut.
